Performing vital service inspections and replacements at all the recommended intervals should give you peace of mind regarding your car and its safety. There is no need to guess about the condition of one’s brakes or lights when an auto has been inspected and serviced regularly. Also, regular service keeps you informed of various issues which might be common to your particular car.
30k Service
30k service is done when the odometer in your auto reads about 30,000 miles. As always, it is recommended to follow the guidelines for service stated in your car’s owner’s manual. At the 30k service interval, filters are generally replaced, and tires are rotated. Also, brakes, fluids, and nearly every other aspect of the car’s inner workings are inspected. 30k service should be performed by a reputable mechanic.
60k service
60k Service should be performed on your auto at about 60,000 miles. Service at this interval includes everything done at the 30k interval, plus it should include the changing of all fluids. Often, the timing belt and brakes should be replaced at the 60k service level, too. 60k service is crucial to your car, so it should not be skipped.
90k Service
90k Service is performed on your car when it has reached 90,000 miles on the odometer. The 90k service should include an extremely thorough inspection of all the vehicle’s systems. Spark plugs should be changed, and tires should be rotated at the 90k service level, as well.
